Pagatech Holdings Ltd. has selected Apposit as their chief technical partner for their vision of creating a "cashless society". Pagatech will launch their first product offering, called Paga, in Nigeria in Q2 2010. Paga is an innovative, open, secure, and interoperable mobile payments platform that allows any person who has a mobile phone to transact electronically – thus turning the mobile phone into an electronic wallet. Pagatech intends to continue to expand its set of innovative products aimed at banking the un-banked and enabling a cashless society thorughout Africa.

Apposit has been contracted to design and develop the technical platform and products that will provide these services including both consumer facing and back end support applications. Apposit will be implementing its groundbreaking MMP platform as a core component of the mobile enabled products.
