Adam Abate
Mr. Adam Abate is a founding partner of Apposit and is responsible for the business development and operations of the company. Mr. Abate has 12 years of experience working in software product development. He started his career at Accenture (previously Andersen Consulting) and has worked for Fortune 100 clients including DuPont, Siebel Systems, and Ocean Spray Cranberries. Prior to returning to Ethiopia in 2001, Mr. Abate worked for E-Risk Holdings in New York, where he was a member of the product development team developing enterprise risk management systems for banks and insurance companies. Most recently, as Director of Information Technology for the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Mr. Abate managed the development and implementation of a nationwide integrated financial management system for public finance in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in Ethiopia. Mr. Abate graduated with honors in Economics and Development Studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
